Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Malaysia Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a professional to review and check loan documentation to ensure credit terms comply with approvals and term sheets, liaise with internal compliance and legal teams, and ensure all conditions precedent are met before disbursement.

You will also create loan shells within credit approval, coordinate with relationship managers and operations on outstanding documents, and ensure timely submission of credit-related reports

Job description

• Review & check loan documentation to ensure credit terms comply with credit approvals and term sheets.
• Liaise with internal compliance and legal team of SMBC Branches on various matters, including non-standard security form, documents etc.
• Review and ensure that all the responsibilities and operational aspects are appropriately incorporated into the facility and security agreements.
• Responsible for ensuring all Pre & Post conditions precedent are met before disbursement of loan.
• Responsible for creation of loan shell / limit within credit approval.
• Follow-up with relationship managers / operations department on outstanding documentations / subsequent conditions.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely submission of credit-related reports to the authority.
• Build team competency and skills set to improve efficiency, productivity, and to achieve better internal customer service and delivery.
• Ensure no breach of regulatory conditions, meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) and complete all tasks on time.
