Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is seeking an AP Specialist to support accounts payable and travel & expenses processes within a shared service environment. You will handle ticketing, collaborate with stakeholders, and validate banking data in line with anti-fraud procedures.

You will ensure accurate expense reporting and adhere to country-specific rules. The role requires strong English communication and a degree in Finance/Business/Accounting, with experience in SAP/Concur and a team-oriented, deadline-driven

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable Invoice Process, Travel & Expenses claims; SSC experience is an advantage.
• Shift coverage for EMEA/AMER markets may apply.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/Concur experience preferred.
• Language skills may be required depending on assignment.
• Team player who can work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP SMAX ticketing and respond to queries to ensure user satisfaction.
• Manage group mailbox queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Validate and update vendor and customer bank information per CBV procedures.
• Review expenses reports and ensure policy compliance.
• Review daily/weekly/monthly reports for T&E processing by country rules.
• Participate in compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with Local Services and auditors as needed.
• Assist with other AP-related transactions per local requests.

Ensure the employees are not violation of country specific T&E policy.* Reports: review all daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure the T&E reports are processed correctly by country specific T&E rules.* Participate in compliance program, projects and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by team lead* Adhere to Group Corporate procedure, policy and internal guidelines.
