Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an engineer to contribute to design services and related product development and commercialization activities.

You will develop high-quality concepts that meet customer requirements and support the full value stream from concept to manufacture. Responsibilities include applying design tools, conducting analyses, verifying designs, and producing thorough project documentation in line with Plexus' processes and change management guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year related experience preferred.
• Experience with design creation, analysis, and verification.
• Familiarity with Plexus engineering processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops engineering/product concepts that are high-quality and cost-appropriate, satisfying customer requirements.
• Executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' engineering process.
• Demonstrates understanding of the full value stream from Conceptualize to Sustain as it applies to the role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform design work including design creation, analysis, and verification.
• Produces comprehensive project documentation per quality and change management procedures.

• Develops engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
• Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' engineering process.
• Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full value stream (Conceptualize, Design, Commercialize, Manufacture, Fulfill, Sustain) as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
• Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 1 or more years of related experience preferred.
