The role focuses on guiding technical teams, managing scope, schedule and budget, and ensuring overall technical success on sizeable projects across the region. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8+ years of related experience, with a proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and deliver robust engineering

Purpose Statement:

To perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization services. Please refer to discipline core skills for specifics.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Is visible and recognized in all Design Centers as a master of their engineering discipline; and/or is visible and recognized in all Design Centers as a cross-discipline product development leader.
• Serves as a technical and/or project team lead, providing technical guidance and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on sizeable projects as determined by region.
• Achieves in all phases of the full product realization process, as it applies to their role & location.
• Provides Customer Service leadership by establishing positive and productive customer communications during technical/project discussions, developing innovative architectures and solutions to meet customer needs, and supporting business development engagements and proposal creation.
• Leads or provides substantial contribution to xDC continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project execution-focused efforts.
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential. (as applicable)
