Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) operates KK SUPER MART KLIA 2, Gateway (2) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. We are recruiting a full-time Shop Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain an organized retail environment.

You will handle transactions, restock shelves, assist displays, and support the team in achieving daily sales targets in a fast-paced airport setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and punctuality with flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts.
• Physical ability to stand, lift and carry merchandise.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with till operations.
• Ability to multitask in a busy airport retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service to all shoppers.
• Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle payments securely.
• Restock shelves and merchandise displays to maintain an organized environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including floors and checkout areas.
• Receive deliveries, check stock, and log inventory information.
• Follow company policies, health, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist with promotional activities, displays and merchandising initiatives.
• Support team to achieve daily sales targets and operational objectives.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
