Job summary

SF Global Express (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a freight operations specialist in Malaysia to be the first contact for air and sea freight inquiries, providing accurate rate quotes and lead-time estimates. You will analyze customer requirements to recommend the most cost-efficient mode of transport (LCL/FCL, Door-to-Door) and translate Incoterms for clear liability and cost ownership.

From bookings and documentation to tracking, billing, and resolving issues, you will ensure timely updates and smooth

Qualifications

End-to-end air and sea freight operations experience.
Familiar with Malaysia customs import procedures.
1-3 years in air/sea freight import/export.
Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as first contact for air and sea freight inquiries, providing rate quotes.
Analyze customer requirements to recommend transport modes (LCL/FCL, Door-to-Door).
Translate Incoterms for clear liability and cost ownership.
Coordinate bookings with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents.
Manage documentation including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, invoices, packing lists.
Track shipments daily and provide proactive updates to customers.
Identify and resolve operational pain points and cargo claims.
Verify vendor invoices against agreed rates and ensure timely billing.
