Job summary

MAXIS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and adoption of Enterprise AI solutions. You will drive AI opportunities from discovery through architecture, proposals and technical leadership across industries.

You will work with Gemini, GPT, Llama and other models, balancing cost, sovereignty and performance. The role requires strong enterprise AI expertise, governance, security, and collaboration with cloud and AI ecosystem partners; you will run discovery

• Lead AI discovery workshops with enterprise customers.
• Develop solution proposals, architecture documents, presentations and technical responses for RFP/RFQ/Tender submissions.
• Present AI solution architecture to executive management, technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Conduct AI maturity assessments and AI strategy sessions.
• Develop solution proposals, architecture documents, presentations and technical responses for RFP/RFQ/Tender submissions.
• Present AI solution architecture to executive management, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrate AI solutions, PoCs and MVPs.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Practice to lead the design, positioning and adoption of Enterprise AI solutions. The role is responsible for driving complex AI opportunities from customer engagement through solution design, architecture, proposal development and technical leadership. Drive AI business transformation, not just technology implementation. Evangelize AI adoption with customers and internal teams. Build industry-specific AI use cases (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, public sector, etc.). Position AI platforms commercially alongside cloud infrastructure. Understand AI economics, including GPU sizing, token consumption, inference costs, and ROI/TCO analysis. Work with both proprietary models (Gemini, GPT, Claude) and open-weight models (Llama, Qwen, Mistral, DeepSeek), selecting the right model based on business, cost, sovereignty, and performance requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of Enterprise AI architecture including Agentic AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Platforms, GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), Model Serving, Tokenization, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Security and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate should be comfortable in conducting AI discovery workshops, building business use cases and leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI solutions utilizing LLMs, RAG, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI Agents and enterprise integrations.
• Design hybrid AI architectures combining on-premise infrastructure, private cloud and public cloud.
• Lead AI discovery workshops with enterprise customers.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities and prioritize business use cases.
• Conduct AI maturity assessments and AI strategy sessions.
• Develop solution proposals, architecture documents, presentations and technical responses for RFP/RFQ/Tender submissions.
• Present AI solution architecture to executive management, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrate AI solutions, proof-of-concepts (PoC) and minimum viable products (MVPs).
• Design solutions involving: Enterprise and Public Cloud AI Platforms GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) AI Model Serving Platforms Kubernetes and Container platforms AI observability and monitoring
• Understand model governance and AI compliance.
• Architect tokenization and sensitive data protection strategies.
• Recommend AI guardrails and Responsible AI practices.
• Understand prompt security, data leakage prevention and AI risk management.
• Evaluate new AI vendors, models and platforms.
• Work closely with Public Cloud and AI ecosystem partners.
• Contribute to internal AI best practices, reusable architectures and solution accelerators.
