Job summary

Codebase Technologies is seeking an AI & SaaS Presales Lead to build and lead our fastest-growing presales practice. You will turn AI into validated, demonstrable, sellable propositions for the Digibanc platform and run a sandbox-led SaaS sales motion.

You will build the AI use-case catalogue, pilot methodologies, and a growing team of consultants, presales engineers, and subject specialists, while ensuring governance, data residency, and risk management across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology with 3+ years designing AI/ML or GenAI in production.
• SaaS presales or solution consulting in fintech or banking.
• Financial services background with understanding AI risk for banks/regulators.
• Experience leading or building a small team.

Responsibilities

• Build AI use-case catalogue mapped to Digibanc modules with demo assets.
• Design AI pilots and POCs with success criteria and drive pilots to commercial conversion.
• Address AI governance requirements including data residency, explainability, and model-risk.
• Develop joint propositions with AI vendors and hyperscaler partners.
• Define standard SaaS implementation packages with cross-functional teams.
• Lead discovery and solutioning for AI and SaaS opportunities and run sandbox-led evaluations.
• Enforce package discipline and accelerate standardisation.
• Review non-standard AI scope before estimation.
• Hire and develop Associate Solution Consultants, Presales Engineers, and Subject Specialists.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Codebase Technologies is hiring an AI & SaaS Presales Lead to build and lead our fastest-growing presales practice. Most banks adopting our AI propositions will do so on the Digibanc™ SaaS model, so this role owns both: turning AI into validated, demonstrable, sellable propositions, and running a fast, repeatable, sandbox-led SaaS sales motion.

You will build the practice from the ground up: the AI use-case catalogue, SaaS packages, pilot methodology, and a growing team of consultants, presales engineers, and subject specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Proposition Building

• Build and maintain a banking AI use-case catalogue mapped to Digibanc™ modules, each with a demo asset and solution pattern
• Design AI pilots and POCs with success criteria agreed with the client before build starts, and drive pilots to commercial conversion
• Address AI governance requirements for each market, including data residency, explainability, and model-risk expectations
• Develop joint propositions with AI vendors and hyperscaler partners
• Define standard SaaS implementation packages with Product, Delivery, and Finance, covering scope, effort basis, and onboarding timeline
• Lead discovery and solutioning on AI and SaaS opportunities, and run the sandbox-led evaluation with the Presales Engineer
• Enforce package discipline and accelerate customisation that falls outside standard tiers
• Review and approve all non-standard AI scope before it is estimated

Team & Enablement

• Hire and develop Associate Solution Consultants, Presales Engineers, and Subject Specialists as the practice scales
• Run an AI enablement programme that certifies all presales staff to position AI confidently
• Feed validated demand and market insight into the Product roadmap

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience

• 10+ years in technology, including 3+ years designing applied AI/ML or GenAI solutions that reached production
• SaaS presales, solution consulting, or product experience, ideally in fintech or banking
• Financial services background strongly preferred, with understanding of how banks and regulators assess AI risk
• Experience leading or building a small team

Skills

• Translating AI capability into business cases that bank business and risk teams will approve
• Product mindset: thinks in packages and repeatability rather than custom projects
• Confident with both business and technical audiences
• Hands-on with LLMs, ML pipelines, and cloud AI services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI in credit decisioning, collections, fraud, or customer service
• Familiarity with AI regulation and guidance in MENA or APAC markets
