Job summary

WIZ.AI in Malaysia is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. You will work with Linux environments, networking technologies, and enterprise systems to support reliable platforms for our business and customers.

The role focuses on configuring, deploying, and maintaining system environments, monitoring reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of server hardware and infrastructure components.
• Familiar with Linux OSs (RHEL/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu).
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, NFS/NAS, NTP).
• Experience with Linux package management (yum, apt) and deploying environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain server hardware and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure, deploy, and upgrade system environments to support business operations.
• Monitor and maintain system reliability, stability, and availability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security controls.
• Maintain data ownership, backup, and management processes to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements and infrastructure deployments.
