ABB Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a software engineer focused on AI-enabled applications and cloud integration to build scalable solutions for ELSE division.

You will work on Azure-based services, APIs, and knowledge-management capabilities, collaborating with Global Operations and IS teams to deliver reliable, secure software. The role emphasizes hands-on development, problem solving, and proactive communication, with a hybrid work arrangement at the Selangor site and opportunities for growth

Formación

• Relevant experience in software, cloud, or AI engineering.
• Hands-on with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Practical cloud development, preferably Microsoft Azure, including App Service/Functions/Storage.
• Experience with APIs, MCP, and enterprise integrations including secure connectivity.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, version control, testing and release practices.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical technical solutions with ownership.

Responsabilidades

• Build and enhance AI-enabled applications and agent workflows with MCP integrations.
• Develop and improve AI knowledge retrieval, embeddings, and vector search.
• Configure and operate Azure cloud services: deployment, testing, release, monitoring, security.
• Own delivery and continuous improvement, translating business needs into design docs and guidance.
