Job summary

Ant International Malaysia is seeking an AI Engineer to own end‑to‑end product delivery in an AI‑native environment at the GDC in Kuala Lumpur. You will collaborate with AI agents across the development lifecycle, ensuring correctness, security, reliability and business impact of every delivery.

You will contribute to features for cross‑border payments and digital infrastructure, with a focus on building scalable backend services, APIs and robust testing practices in a modern cloud‑native stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational programming proficiency in at least one general‑purpose language.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, version control and core software concepts.
• Ability to build and debug working software with strong learning, ownership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clearly scoped product features and fixes from requirement clarification to deployment.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs following established engineering standards.
• Ensure code quality through validation, defect resolution, and production feedback.
• Work within AI‑native engineering workflows, collaborating with AI agents across delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, communicate progress and risks, and share knowledge with the team.
