Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Retention Marketing Specialist to build and optimise the customer retention engine across Email, WhatsApp, Loyalty and Mobile App. You will combine retention strategy, lifecycle marketing, data, AI and workflow automation to scale revenue with efficient headcount.

The role focuses on creating scalable automated journeys, AI-assisted campaigns and systematic testing to improve CLV and margins. Collaboration with Tech/Product and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation.
• Hands-on with email marketing and CRM platforms such as Klaviyo.
• Solid understanding of segmentation, lifecycle journeys, personalisation and analytics.
• Experience designing automated marketing workflows.
• Comfortable working with e-commerce data.
• Familiarity with retention economics (CLV, margin) and discounting.

Responsibilities

• Own retention strategy across Email, WhatsApp, Loyalty and Mobile App.
• Analyse customer behaviour and retention performance.
• Develop automated lifecycle flows to reduce manual campaigns.
• Build automated journeys for cart recovery, win-back, reminders.
• Collaborate with Tech/Product on integrations and data infrastructure.
• Monitor revenue attribution and contribution from automated flows.
• Drive app adoption and retention metrics.
