Job summary

UOC is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, implement, and quality-check digital learning materials within the Open Learning LMS. The role focuses on translating faculty expertise into engaging online and blended courses, working with the LMS team under the Director, Learning and Teaching.

You will contribute to user-experience requirements, support adoption of the LMS, and ensure alignment with Programme Learning Outcomes and OBE principles, collaborating with the CLT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of instructional design/e-learning development experience.
• Experience with LMS platforms such as Open Learning, Moodle, Canvas.
• Experience using generative AI tools for learning content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LMS courses and digital learning modules in Open Learning LMS.
• Collaborate with academic staff to storyboard and develop content, activities, and assessments.
• Support the migration of courses to the LMS and improve efficiency using AI tools.
• Develop multimedia learning resources and self-assessment tools.
• Provide QA and feedback to ensure alignment with standards.
