Job summary

Sanmina in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory control and coordinate with interplant and external parties on excess and obsolescence disposition.

You will maintain data for periodic reporting to management, regional and corporate offices, and support the Inventory Manager to meet KPI targets. AI-assisted tools will be used to automate reporting and improve data integrity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Studies, SCM or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in Materials Planning / Production Control.
• Knowledge of materials management, inventory control and supply chain preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge on Generative AI and Agentic AI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate solutions for inventory control.
• Coordinate with interplant and external parties on excess and obsolescence inventory disposition.
• Maintain and manage data for periodic reporting to management, regional and corporate office.
• Support Inventory Manager on manage and control inventory to meet company inventory KPI, E&O quarter to quarter reduction %.
• Analyze complex situations and recommend solutions to inventory problems.
• Handle inquiries regarding inventory control issues, policies and procedures.
• Publish regular reports to management, regional and corporate office.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to automate manual reporting, identify opportunities and improve data integrity.
