HashWhale is seeking an AI-Native Full Stack Engineer (Java) for a fully remote role based in Malaysia. The role focuses on building full-stack web applications, backend services with Java/Spring Boot, and frontend integration, while leveraging AI tools throughout development.

English and Chinese languages are used in collaboration. Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of experience, strong Java foundations, and familiarity with AI-assisted coding and UI/UX design tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with Spring Boot and MySQL.
• Experience using AI coding tools in daily development.
• Ability to independently deliver complete software products and artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack Web applications.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Build frontend applications and integrate with backend services.
• Design databases and optimize application performance.
• Use AI tools for coding, debugging, testing and documentation.
• Deploy and maintain production-ready Web applications.
• Participate in architecture design and continuously improve engineering workflows.
