Job summary

FastLaneRecruit is assisting a Australia-based funds management company with a fully remote Full Stack Developer role. You’ll contribute to internal web apps and AI-powered solutions as part of a small engineering team.

You’ll work across frontend, backend, and AI integration, with projects including recruitment platform, wage interpretation, and digital processes. Malaysian entity benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js
• Experience with Python, ExpressJS, and GraphQL
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic web security concepts
• Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently while collaborating in a small team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Build and maintain backend services using ExpressJS and GraphQL
• Design, develop, and integrate APIs and databases
• Support AI integrations using Python, FastAPI, and Hugging Face
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement new features
• Stay up to date with modern web technologies and AI tools
