Job summary

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in economic research, strategic planning, equity research or advisory (banking/consulting preferred).
Strong quantitative capability and commercial acumen.
Hands-on familiarity with AI platforms alongside Excel/PowerPoint/PowerBI/Tableau.
Deep understanding of Asian macroeconomic drivers and policy trends.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial strategy by analyzing macroeconomic data, industry trends, and regulatory shifts to identify high-growth market segments and build playbooks for SME, Commercial, and Corporate Banking teams.
Leverage AI analytics to deploy data extraction, quantitative platforms, and market forecasting tools to accelerate coverage.
Deliver executive insights by synthesizing banking data and indicators into dashboards, briefings, and revenue models for senior management.
Guide regional expansion by researching sectors across Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Hong Kong to optimize portfolio positioning.
