Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance and relevant professional qualification.
• Member of MIA/ACCA/CPA/ICAEW or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in a mid to large firm.
• Strong technical and communication skills; proactive and accountable.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in audit engagements.
• Solid knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Audit Engagements from planning to completion with quality and timely delivery.
• Review working papers, financial statements and audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Apply AI tools to support audit research, documentation and analysis.
• Use data analytics to identify unusual transactions and audit risks.
• Coach and develop audit team members to enhance technical competency.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improve audit workflows.
• Build strong client relationships and communicate findings effectively.
• Ensure responsible AI governance, data protection and professional judgment.
