Hiredly X in Malaysia seeks an experienced audit professional to strengthen quality, consistency, and progress of audit engagements. You will review audit files and financial statements, coach team members, and resolve routine technical matters to keep engagements moving toward completion.

The role involves leveraging AI-enabled audit models and tools to standardise processes, with escalation to the Engagement Partner for significant judgments.

Qualifications

• External audit experience reviewing working papers.
• Ability to coach staff and resolve routine technical matters.
• Knowledge of audit standards and SSA exposure is beneficial.
• Interest in leveraging AI/automation to improve audit quality.
• Professional qualifications welcomed (CA/ACCA/CPA/ICAEW).

Responsabilités

• Quality & File Review: review working papers and financial statements to identify gaps and issues.
• Coaching & Development: mentor junior staff to improve audit quality and judgment.
• Technical Resolution: resolve routine issues; escalate significant matters to the Partner.
• Engagement Progress: track progress and coordinate with teams/clients to meet deadlines.
• Standards Compliance: support application of SFRS(I), IFRS, SSA; identify recurring bottlenecks.
• Process & AI Innovation: contribute to AI-enabled audit processes and standardized templates.
