• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance and relevant professional qualification.
• Member of MIA/ACCA/CPA/ICAEW or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of audit experience in a mid to large firm.
• Strong technical and communication skills; proactive and accountable.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in audit engagements.
• Solid knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Audit Engagements from planning to completion with quality and timely delivery.
• Review working papers, financial statements and audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Support the Audit Manager and Partner in managing audit engagements, reviewing work papers, guiding team members, and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with MFRS / MPERS and ISAs.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Audit Engagements: Manage audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy and timely delivery.

Review & Technical Excellence: Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports in accordance with applicable standards.

AI-Enabled Audit: Apply AI tools to support audit research, documentation, financial analysis and audit procedures.

Data Analytics: Leverage technology to identify unusual transactions, financial trends and potential audit risks.

People Leadership: Coach, mentor and develop audit team members to strengthen technical competency and productivity.

Process Innovation: Identify opportunities for automation and improve audit workflows through digital solutions.

Client Management: Build strong client relationships and communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively.

AI Governance: Ensure responsible AI usage, confidentiality, data protection and professional judgement in all audit activities.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Accounting / Commerce/Finance or a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent).

Member of MIA / ACCA / CPA / ICAEW or equivalent professional body

Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in large or mid-tier firm

Strong technical and communication skills; proactive and accountable.

Relevant audit experience with demonstrated supervisory or team leadership capability.

Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements.

Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or other AI productivity solutions.

Interest in applying AI and data analytics to improve audit processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Proactive, adaptable and willing to embrace technology-driven change.
