Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related field.
• 5+ years of data science or generative AI solutions development.
• Strong Python and ML libraries experience; SQL familiarity.
• Experience with deep learning, NLP, or RL; familiarity with Hadoop or Spark.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop data scientists, providing technical guidance and career development support.
• Partner with Group to localise, implement, and scale AI solutions within OCBC Malaysia.
• Design, develop and deploy AI-driven solutions, including GenAI copilots and recommendation engines.
• Build, validate and scale predictive and generative models to address business opportunities.
• Explore and apply agentic AI concepts to automate workflows and support decision-making.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop data narratives and visualisations translating complex findings into business recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to co-create scalable AI and analytics solutions delivering measurable impact.
