Job summary

AIA Malaysia seeks a senior leader to head Data Science & AI, transforming complex insurance opportunities into scalable AI solutions and defining the roadmap for advanced analytics across the business.

You will oversee predictive analytics, Generative AI and Agentic AI, ensuring governance, deployment, monitoring, and measurable outcomes across the life insurance value chain. Strong collaboration with Technology, Risk and Business units is essential.

Qualifications

• Mastery in data science, AI engineering or related field.
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering AI products from concept to production.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a diverse Data Science & AI team with clear standards and career paths.
• Own the unit strategy and capability roadmap for advanced analytics, ML, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
• Translate business needs into responsible AI products with measurable outcomes from discovery to production deployment.
