Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Data Scientist to design, develop and deploy AI‑driven solutions, including GenAI copilots and recommender engines, to address business opportunities.

You will build, validate and scale predictive and generative models, analyze large‑scale data, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations with clear data narratives. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science or generative AI solutions development.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries; familiarity with SQL.
• Experience with deep learning, NLP, or reinforcement learning; exposure to Hadoop or Apache Spark.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Curious, collaborative and outcome-driven mindset, with a passion for applying data and AI to create business value.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI‑driven solutions including GenAI copilots, recommendation engines and RAG‑based applications.
• Build, validate and scale predictive and generative models to address business opportunities and operational challenges.
• Explore and apply agentic AI concepts to automate workflows, support decision‑making and enhance customer engagement.
• Analyse large‑scale structured and unstructured data across multiple business domains to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop clear data narratives and visualisations that translate complex analytical findings into business recommendations.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to co‑create scalable AI and analytics solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
