Job summary

Kloudynet is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead multiple agile teams and drive project delivery in a dynamic security-focused environment in Malaysia. You will coach teams in Scrum, remove impediments, and collaborate with senior management, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, value-driven outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in agile transformations, Jira-based tracking, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years as a Scrum Master, including senior SM responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple agile teams, agile transformations and complex projects.
• Proven ability to work with senior management, stakeholders and sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, respond and manage project implementation in agile practice.

Job Requirements:

• To manage and deliver TIM Project on time and meet business objectives
• Steer and supervise different workstream with various platforms to deliver project on time
• Work with senior management on business objective direction and scope based on strategic needs; Influence peers, stakeholders and leaders to make the right decisions
• Drive technical team to deliver business values planned in the project together with stakeholders and project sponsor.
• Planning and management of the project including scheduling resources management and change control according to the Company’s policy and guideline.
• Facilitate the adoption and adherence to Scrum practices and principles across multiple teams. Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and team members in agile methodologies, processes and practices as needed. Lead PMO org. wide initiatives.
• who will be working with a few scrum teams on facilitating best agile practices to accomplish team goals and ensuring iteration quality. This includes the management of iteration throughput, tracking, communicating, and providing transparency of iteration health, team development and overall iteration facilitation for the teams in parallel. The Senior Scrum Master is also adept at continuous improvement, team empowerment practices and leading other Scrum Masters.
• Host regular meetings with stakeholders including management, peers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, respond and to Manage Project implementation in agile practice.
• Manage the project budget, cost management according to internal business management rules.
• Monitor and control execution of projects though Plan, Build and Run processes
• Perform project reporting (e.g. performance, status) and deliver and socialize project completion documentations
• Conduct project evaluations, and share the results with Service Owners and Group Infra Lead
• Liaise and communicate with various global and regional stakeholders including Business, IT, Operations, etc.
• Identify potential project risks and define the right mitigation strategy.
• Work with senior management on communications, project updates, and escalation

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in project management is required (e.g. PMP, Prince2) and Agile (eg. Agile SAFe, Scrum master or Kanban)
• Minimum of 8 years of total IT experience and a minimum of 5 years as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a senior SM role. Proven experience managing multiple agile teams, agile transformations and complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree / master's is a plus.
• Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), or equivalent. Advanced certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist) are a plus.
• Proficient with agile project tracking tools such as Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Dashboards etc.
• Familiarity with common agile engineering best practices
• Good understanding of latest Technologies. Exposure to service-oriented environments and data engineering projects is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional emotional intelligence.
• Highly motivated, self-driven problem solver. Ability to identify and resolve team impediments.
• Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Working experience in a distributed team setup
