Job summary

Leistritz Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Aftersales Service Engineer to act as the ambassador for Leistritz, delivering aftersales service support and technical expertise across Fluid Technology with Screw Pumps.

You will be the main contact for service, spare parts, retrofits, and upgrades while troubleshooting for customers. The role involves field service, including installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of machinery, with opportunities for overseas training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or related).
• 3+ years experience with rotating machinery, electrical instruments, PLCs and variable speed drives preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical circuit/PID diagrams.

Job description

As an Aftersales Service Engineer, you will serve as an ambassador of Leistritz, engaging directly with customers and providing aftersales service support and technical expertise across Fluid Technology with Screw Pumps.

Key responsibilities

Serve as the main contact for after sales activities, including service support, spare part inquiries, retrofits, and upgrades

Provide troubleshooting and technical support to customers

Perform field aftersales activities if required, including installation, start up, and troubleshooting of machine equipment

Prepare field service reports and follow up on aftersales opportunities

Handle equipment ranging from lab (R&D) scale to full production machines

Support customers across industries, including Petrochemical, Chemical, Plastics, Oil & Gas

About you

Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or related)

Minimum 3 years experience with rotating machinery, electrical instruments, PLCs, and variable speed controls is preferred

Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical circuit/PID diagrams

Willingness to travel and enjoy field work which sometimes may require hands on intervention

Self-motivated, shows initiative, and able to work independently

Prior field service experience in controls, inverters, or industrial rotating machinery is an advantage

Fluent in English, able to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients
