Job summary

Westcoast Precision (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to drive lead generation and business development for manufacturing and engineering capabilities, focusing on the U.S. aerospace/space sector and the Penang semiconductor market.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with engineers, procurement teams, program managers, and senior decision-makers, and expand the company's presence across aerospace and semiconductor ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Identify and generate new leads and opportunities in aerospace, space, defense, and semiconductor markets.
• Develop customers and build relationships with engineers, procurement teams, program managers, and senior decision-makers.
• Expand presence in U.S. aerospace and space industry, identifying potential customers and supply-chain opportunities.
• Develop opportunities within the Penang semiconductor ecosystem, including manufacturers and supporting suppliers.
• Conduct visits, presentations, and technical discussions to understand requirements and promote capabilities.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, RFQs, proposals, and new business opportunities.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads, opportunities, and market development.
