Job summary

Malaysia Airports is seeking an Admin-Operations Officer to oversee terminal operations and facilities management at the Sepang site. The role requires coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure passenger flow and service reliability.

You will supervise operations staff, liaise with the AODM, and compile operational reports while maintaining IMS compliance. Open to diploma graduates with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations within the terminal and coordinate with agencies to ensure smooth passenger flow.
• Ensure facilities are serviceable and properly maintained; act on reported faults.
• Coordinate with agencies for events, crises, or emergencies.
• Supervise terminal operations staff within your jurisdiction.
• Liaise with AODM on airport status and report generation on operations and facilities.
• Attend meetings on behalf of Duty Executives/Terminal Manager when absent.
• Monitor VIP room management per SOP and service standards.
• Oversee service contractors to ensure contract compliance.
• Handle all complaints or feedback professionally.

Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To ensure smooth and efficient operations of terminal.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Monitor the operations within and coordinate with related agencies and units; to ensure smooth flow of passengers.
• Ensure all facilities are serviceable and well maintained. To take necessary actions on facilities that was reported faulty.
• To manage/ coordinate/liaise with others agencies for any event/crisis/emergencies.
• Supervise the performance of the Terminal Operations staffs that are under his/her jurisdictions.
• Liaise with AODM; on the overall status of the airport.
• To compile all report on operation and facilities.
• Ensure compliances to IMS and other certifications requirement.
• To attend meeting on behalf of Duty Executives / Terminal Manager during their absence.
• Monitor and ensure that the management of the VIP rooms is carried out as per SOP and Courtesy and Care.
• Monitor/manage the performance of the service contractors at the terminal and ensure that they performed as per contract agreement.
• Handle all complaints or feedbacks in a professional manner.

Key Challenges

• Ensure Terminal score high in ASQ elements that related to terminal functions.

• 1–3 years of working experience in airport terminal operations, passenger handling, customer service operations, facilities management, or contractor oversight.
• Open to fresh Diploma graduates with CGPA > 2.80 demonstrating strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving abilities, and customer orientation.

Diploma in Airport Operations Management, Aviation Management, Hospitality/Tourism, Business Administration, Operations Management, or an equivalent field.

Minimum academic achievement: CGPA > 2.80.
