Job summary

WTW is seeking new actuarial talent in Malaysia to join our regional consulting team. You will work across multiple actuarial domains and insurance clients, gaining broad exposure and applying advanced techniques.

Fresh graduates or professionals up to 2 years will develop skills in pricing, data analytics, IFRS 17, and reserve valuation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Strong Excel and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science or a quantitative field and strong exam progress.
• Fresh grads or up to 2 years actuarial experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17, pricing, reserving and M&A is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants and project managers on general insurance client projects including pricing, data science, IFRS 17, reserve valuation and M&A.
• Develop actuarial models using WTW software to deliver tailored solutions.
• Communicate results clearly to project managers and clients, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
