Job summary

Kai Nguong Nursery (KK) Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Account Executive / Account Admin Assistant to join our team in Malaysia. You will handle supplier accounts, verify invoices and processing payments, and enter records into the SQL Accounting System.

The role requires independence, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Excel is essential; Mandarin is required with Bahasa Malaysia or English as an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of SPM, Diploma in Accounting, Diploma in Business Management or a related field.
• Candidates with experience in accounts payable, supplier accounts, administration or general accounting will be given preference.
• Familiarity with SQL Accounting Software will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer operations.
• Detail-oriented, accurate and well-organized in handling documents.
• Able to work independently and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Mandarin communication skills are required. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or English will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update supplier accounts and information.
• Verify supplier invoices, Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO) and related documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers, arrange payment schedules and process supplier payments.
• Enter supplier invoices and payment records into the SQL Accounting System.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding payments and payment deadlines.
• Assist with monthly closing, expense reconciliation and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports.
• Organize and maintain invoices, payment records and related documentation.
• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
