Job summary

Clarks Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support and process vendor invoices and payments in line with group policies and SLAs. You will reconcile statements, run reports, and assist month-end close.

The role requires a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, at least 2 years in a shared services environment servicing Asia Pacific, proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, and the ability to work in a multicultural team. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of relevant work experience in a Finance shared service environment servicing Asia Pacific
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Proven track record in meeting KPIs and SLAs
• Ability to follow processes with sound judgement
• Able to work long hours during month end closings and tight timeframes

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments
• Check invoices for compliance with policy and controls
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries promptly
• Run payments via SAP and ensure correct supplier payments
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare monthly reports and supplier analysis
• Maintain proper documentation and records retention
• Assist in internal controls and audit processes
• Take on ad-hoc finance projects as required
