Job summary

FrieslandCampina in Malaysia is seeking a proactive treasury professional to coordinate end-to-end Procure-to-Pay activities across Asia. You will ensure processes meet service levels while delivering high stakeholder satisfaction and drive continuous improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in PtP/AP/treasury within international settings, strong knowledge of treasury operations, and hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in PtP/AP/Treasury in international environment.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, payment processing, and financial controls.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems; SSC/GBS exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end PtP activities across Asia; ensure adherence to policies and SLAs.
• Manage payment runs, supplier payments, cash management, and reconciliations.
• Administer bank access controls per policies and internal controls.
• Forecast cash flows and monitor in-house cash positions and calendars.
• Perform daily cash application and bookings of FX gains/losses.
• Provide second-line treasury support via phone and email.
• Support audits, internal controls, and ICF compliance.
• Drive process improvements and automation; participate in cross-functional projects.
• Support governance, stakeholder engagement, service reviews, and issue escalation.
• Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports for continuous improvement.

Job description

Coordinate and oversee end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) activities across Asia in accordance with established strategies, policies, and guidelines. Ensure operational and tactical PtP processes are executed efficiently and effectively, consistently meeting agreed service levels and delivering high stakeholder satisfaction. Lead and coordinate the team effectively while continuously driving process improvements to enhance quality, performance, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage operational treasury activities, including payment processing, bank statement reconciliations, foreign currency transactions, and cash management.
• Prepare, review, and execute weekly payment runs, manual payments, supplier finance payments, and other treasury-related transactions accurately and on time.
• Administer bank access controls, including granting, reviewing, and revoking user access in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• Monitor and forecast cash flows, including incoming and outgoing payments, in-house cash positions, and payment calendars.
• Perform daily cash application activities and ensure accurate booking of bank transactions, payment differences, foreign exchange gains and losses, and forward currency transactions.
• Resolve internal and external treasury-related inquiries and provide second-line support via phone and email.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Control Framework (ICF) requirements and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks, proposing optimization initiatives, supporting automation efforts, and participating in cross-functional projects.
• Support governance activities, stakeholder engagement, service reviews, and act as a first-level escalation point for operational issues.
• Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (PtP), Accounts Payable (AP), Treasury, Banking, or Finance within an international or multicultural environment.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, payment processing, cash management, accounting principles, and financial controls.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems; exposure to process automation, Shared Services (SSC), or Global Business Services (GBS) environments is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills, with strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities in a multicultural setting.
• Proactive and accountable team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and continuous improvement skills; experience supporting global operations is preferred.
