Job summary

Hytech Consulting Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the full accounting function and deliver accurate financial reporting across a multi-entity setup. The role partners with management to support business objectives and ensures compliance with statutory requirements while driving process improvements.

Lead and develop the accounting team, coordinate audits, and contribute to budgeting and management reporting to enable informed decision-making and stronger

Qualifications

• Experience in leading accounting teams and managing full accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience in multi-entity or regional/shared services environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and oversee financial reporting activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, including performance reviews and development.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit issues.
• Establish and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Partner with management on financial analysis and decision‑making.
• Drive continuous process improvements and system enhancements.

About the Role

The Accounts Manager oversees the overall accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective team management. This role partners closely with management to support business objectives.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting platforms
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese for senior stakeholder and management communication
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision‑making abilities
• Experience in multi-entity, regional, or shared services environments is an advantage
