Job summary

THE LIVING DEPOT (PUCHONG) SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.

This full-time role supports day‑to‑day accounting tasks, collaborates with senior staff, and helps maintain accurate financial records. You will process receivables, invoices, reconciliations, and filing, with responsibilities spanning monthly statements, petty cash, and queries from customers and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in accounting or finance (SPM with accounting subjects considered).
• 2–3 years experience in an accounts office or similar environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good organizational and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and general ledger accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• File and organize financial documents, ensuring proper documentation and record keeping.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the management of petty cash and cash disbursements.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding invoicing and payment queries.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the senior accounting staff with ad‑hoc accounting duties and projects as required
