About the Role

As an Accounts Intern, you will play a supportive role in the finance department by assisting with the day-to-day financial operations. You will gain hands‑on experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and document management while working closely with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance across various financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data.
• Assist in preparing basic bookkeeping, including performing journal entries and adjusting entries.
• Support month‑end or quarter‑end closing activities.
• Help with bank and account reconciliation related tasks.

Transactional & Expense Management

• Assist in processing invoices, payments, or expense claims.
• Check staff claims for accuracy and ensure they have proper supporting documentation.
• Assist with tracking departmental expenses against established budgets.

Documentation & Project Support

• Organize and file financial documents such as payment vouchers, receipts, invoices, and statements.
• Participate in finance‑related projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, or automation testing.

What We’re Looking For

• Detailed minded, proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Language Proficiency: The ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage due to the nature of the business.
