Job summary

EVERNENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SDN BHD is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting activities and support business decisions. You will prepare monthly and owner reports, oversee payroll, and ensure records are accurate and compliant.

You will review data for accuracy, prepare accruals and adjustments, and assist with year-end audits. Collaboration with auditors and tax agents will be part of your responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Experience handling full set of accounts preferred
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Excel and SQL Accounting software

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and owner reports.
• Handle payment processing and maintain supporting documents.
• Review financial data for accuracy and timeliness in reports.
• Oversee work of Account Assistant for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, adjustments and reclassifications.
• Handle salary calculations and payroll-related matters.
• Ensure accounting processes comply with policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules and documents for yearly external audits.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents and other external parties.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects by Management.
