Job summary

BEST MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts and consolidate financial data. The role ensures accurate reporting, timely closing, and support for audits.

You will handle payroll, bank and supplier reconciliations, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Strong accounting software skills and SST/tax knowledge are essential for independent, detail-oriented work.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year's experience handling full set of accounts.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Good understanding of SST, tax compliance, and payroll process.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative and supply chain functions to ensure smooth company operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Ensure daily transaction records are uploaded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly payroll accurately and within the stipulated timeline.
• Handle monthly closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliation, supplier reconciliation, and account adjustments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports, and analysis.
• Support audit processes (internal and external).
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting when required.
• Support improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
