Job summary

Penfibre Sdn Bhd - Film Division in Malaysia invites applications for a finance professional to manage Accounts Payables, General Ledger, and asset accounting. You will prepare journals, control fixed assets, and assist in year-end tasks.

You will liaise with auditors, bankers, vendors, and tax agents, prepare budgets and forecasts, and support cross‑department teams with thorough analyses and timely reports in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Accounting ERP
• Ability to work independently with good analytical skills
• Proficiency in verbal and written English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with keen attention to details

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payables, Other Payments and General Ledger including preparation of journal entries
• Ensure proper control and accounting of fixed assets, disposals and transfers
• Coordinate and oversee physical stock take of fixed assets and fixed asset tagging
• Assist in year-end audit and tax compliance preparation
• Prepare reports and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior
• Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, bankers, vendors and tax agents
• Prepare annual budget, forecast and assist in ongoing budget control
