Job summary

Evergreen Max Cash Capital Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This full-time role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the accounting function, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

You will contribute to timely financial reporting and assist in audits. Ideal candidates have a degree in Accounting/Finance and practical experience with AP/AR, general ledger, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in financial accounting, AP/AR or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial services; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process, record and reconcile financial transactions per accounting principles and company policies.
• Maintain general ledger accounts with accuracy and completeness.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support AP/AR functions including invoice processing and payments.
• Process bank reconciliations and manage cash records.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Support auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation in physical and digital formats.
• Collaborate with finance team to support period-end close.
