Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive in Malaysia to manage the full set of accounts, including AR, AP and GL. The role requires ensuring timely recording of transactions and performing bank reconciliations.

You will assist with month-end and year-end closes, prepare financial reports, and maintain proper accounting documentation. Interactions with auditors and internal departments are expected, with adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferably with full set accounting exposure
• Good knowledge of AR, AP and GL functions
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Liaise with internal departments, auditors and other relevant parties when required
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
