Job summary

Brightstar Computer Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian IT retailer, seeks an Accounts Executive to manage full-set accounts, ensure month-end closing, and oversee SST and e-Invoice compliance. The role reports to the Finance team across multiple outlets and HQ support.

You will handle AR/AP, intercompany transactions, and work closely with auditors and tax authorities on SST matters. A degree in accounting and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of full-set accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Knowledge of SST and LHDN e-Invoice.
• Good Excel and accounting system skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts up to trial balance.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and month-end closing.

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to handle full-set accounts, month-end closing, SST and e-Invoice compliance.

Job location:

Key responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts up to trial balance
• Prepare bank reconciliations and month-end closing
• Manage AR/AP and intercompany transactions
• Prepare SST and support tax and audit matters
• Ensure compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• 1–3 years of full-set accounting experience
• Knowledge of SST and LHDN e-Invoice
• Good Excel and accounting system skills
• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines
