Job summary

Tadika Chung Hwa Penampang is seeking an Account Executive with 3–4 years in accounting to manage full set accounts, payroll, statutory filings, and e-Invoicing in Sabah. Proficiency in AutoCount and strong accuracy are essential.

The role involves expenses, vendor payments, and financial reporting, with responsibilities spanning budget monitoring and internal controls. Malaysian payroll knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Preferably 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full set of accounts is mandatory.
• Knowledge of AutoCount Accounting Software is an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian payroll, statutory requirements, budgeting and LHDN e-Invoicing.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, organised, honest and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenses & petty cash transactions and processing of payment vouchers.
• Handle full set of accounts using AutoCount; manage AP/AR, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and year-end closing for audit submission.
• Process monthly payroll, allowances and deductions; handle EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB submissions.
• Submit e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and monitoring; prepare variance reports for management.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned; maintain internal controls.

7:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday. Saturday OFF day)

8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) 8:00am - 12:30pm (Saturday)

Job Responsibilities

Expenses & Petty Cash Management

Check, verify and process expenses, payment vouchers, staff claims and petty cash transactions.

Ensure proper documentation, accuracy and timely processing of payments.

Full Set of Accounts (AutoCount)

Handle full set of accounts using AutoCount Accounting Software.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly financial reports, year-end closing submit account for audit.

Payroll & Statutory Compliance

Process monthly payroll, allowances and deductions.

Handle EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other statutory submissions.

Ensure accurate records and timely statutory payments.

E-Invoicing

Manage and submit e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.

Maintain accurate invoicing records and resolve discrepancies.

Budget Preparation & Monitoring

Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor actual income and expenditure against approved budgets.

Prepare budget variance reports and highlight significant differences to management.

Assist management in financial planning and cost control.

Other Ad Hoc Duties

Perform accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Maintain proper financial records and internal controls.
