Job summary

Digital Systems (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to join the team in Malaysia. You will handle day-to-day accounting, data entry, invoice processing, payment tracking and reconciliations to keep financial activities accurate and timely.

The role covers AP/AR management, month-end reporting and maintaining orderly financial records, with opportunities to learn, take ownership and contribute to business operations. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred; IT/services background is a plus.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong organisation and accuracy to maintain reliable records.
• Analytical mindset and openness to process improvements.
• Excellent communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting: data entry, invoice processing, payment tracking and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP and AR: manage payments and collections.
• Support month-end reporting: assist with monthly closing and financial reports.
• Maintain financial records: filing and organisation.
• Coordinate audit and tax support: provide information to auditors and tax agents.
• Support office administration: manage supplies and maintenance.
• Organise company documentation: maintain digital and physical records.
• Manage renewals and contracts: renewals, licences and vendor contracts.
• Partner across departments: collaborate with internal teams.
