Job summary

ASM Partners Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive / Accountant Associate in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports Melbourne-based clients and covers full-set accounting, payroll, tax returns, and company secretarial tasks.

Accounts Executive / Accountant Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Fresh Graduate / Accounts Executive to join our team at ASM Partners in KL, supporting our clients based in Melbourne. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing client's financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

End to end processing of financial records (Full Set Accounting)

Prepare and review yearly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

Payroll functions

Bank reconciliations

Preparation of tax returns

Company secretarial / administration functions

Assist with other office tasks as necessary and other ad‑hoc duties assigned by Management

What we're looking for

A degree in Accounting or Finance, professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)

Fresh Graduate or 1 to 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role

Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Required language(s): English and Mandarin. This role requires liaising with mandarin speaking client

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
