Job summary

Metal Perforators (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized accountant to manage the full set of accounts, including AP/AR and general ledger entries. The role requires attention to accuracy and timely reporting in our ERP system.

You will liaise with suppliers and customers, support month-end closings, and ensure proper documentation and filing. A diploma or degree in accounting and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in accounting is required.
• 1-3 years of working experience in finance/accounting is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation and journal entries.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and stock reporting.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in the ERP and accounting system.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments on account matters.

Job description

Responsible for managing full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General ledger entries.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including bank reconciliation, journal entries.

Maintaining accurate accounting records in the ERP and accounting system.

Ensure timely payment to supplier, proper monitoring of debtors & creditor ageing.

Liaise with supplier, customer and internal department regarding account related matters.

Assist in month end closing activities, reconcile supplier statement, assist with bank reconciliation and stock report preparation.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Assist with petty cash handling and provide support to the accounts department when required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in finance / accounting

Diploma or Degree in accounting

Experience in manufacturing or trading industry is an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
