Wenzel Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Selangor is seeking an Accounts Executive to join the finance team. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, process financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support financial management with accurate, compliant records.

The role emphasizes Mandarin communication, attention to detail, and teamwork. A Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years' experience, and proficiency in accounting software and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mandarin proficiency preferred for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounts administration or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and accounting standards is advantageous.
• Professional certification such as ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions including invoices, purchase orders and payment vouchers.
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Maintaining financial records and supporting schedules.
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Data entry and verification of financial information in accounting systems.
• Following up on outstanding invoices and assisting with collections.
• Supporting tax compliance activities and preparing required documentation.
• Assisting with audits and providing information to auditors.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers

Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies

Preparing and maintaining financial records, documents, and supporting schedules

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Performing data entry and verification of financial information into accounting systems

Following up on outstanding invoices and assisting with collections

Supporting tax compliance activities and preparing required documentation

Assisting with audit activities and providing requested financial information to auditors

Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for
