Job summary

Aksesori Setia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Executive to provide accounting support to the Senior Executive and managers in Ipoh, Malaysia. You will maintain the general ledger, prepare monthly financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

You will supervise junior staff, assist in monthly closings and budgeting, and handle accounts payable alongside other accounting duties in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Qualified with Diploma/Degree in Accounting and related certifications.
• Experience in accounting management is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and statutory returns.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Manage full set of accounts and GL postings.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Supervise junior staff and review entries.
• Maintain journal entries and month-end closings.
• Assist in monthly closings, bank reconciliations and schedules.
• Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as required by management.

1. To prepare monthly financial report and relevant statuary reports

2. Preparation of financial budget

3. Responsible for all aspect of accounting operations and functions and full set of company account.

4. Ensure compliance with accounting standard and reporting in line with the company policy and procedures.

5. Supervise accounting entry by junior executive.

6. Maintain journal and month end closing.

7. Assist in monthly closing activities, GL bank reconciliation & other required schedule and aging.

8. Any other ad hoc task or project as when required by superior and management
