Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Ipoh, Perak invites an experienced Accountant to oversee the full set of accounts, including AP, AR and G/L, and to maintain accurate financial records.

You will perform monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, prepare, review and submit timely management reports, and support cross-functional departments while upholding internal controls and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (G/L).

• Manage daily cheque issuance, collections, and cash flow monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
• Utilize accounting systems effectively to support financial operations and reporting.
• Assist in administrative matters and support cross-functional departments when required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as delegated by management.
