Job summary

Estek Automation in Malaysia is seeking a capable finance professional to manage full set accounts, month-end closing, and financial analysis. You will prepare journals, reconciliations, and management reports while supporting group reporting and consolidation activities.

The role involves cash flow monitoring, coordinating with auditors and tax agents, and driving finance automation using Power BI and ERP systems. 3–5 years of relevant experience and a degree in accounting/finance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in full set accounts, month-end closing, audit, and compliance.
• Knowledge of SST, e-Invoicing, and accounting systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI, automation tools, or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Exposure to Group reporting, consolidation, or IPO projects is preferred.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff claims, and payment processing.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and assist in cash flow forecasting.
• Support Group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, taxation, SST, e-Invoicing, and statutory requirements.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Participate in IPO readiness, audit, due diligence, and corporate governance initiatives.
• Drive finance automation, process improvement, and system enhancement projects.
• Develop and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements using Excel, Power BI, AI tools, or other technologies.
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure documentation is complete and readily retrievable.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
