HOWASAR SDN. BHD. in Kuching, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team and support accurate financial record-keeping.

This full-time role collaborates with the accounting team to ensure timely processing of transactions and reliable ledgers. The ideal candidate has proven bookkeeping exposure, familiarity with Autocount, and a Diploma or Bachelor in Accounting, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently within a small to medium practice

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a small to medium practice environment.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
Understanding of Malaysian tax and accounting regulations is advantageous.
Professional certification (Diploma/Bachelor in Accounting).

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping.
Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and trial balances.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain organised files and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with senior accountants and team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
