Job summary

Mr Bagus Malaysia in Kuching, Sarawak, is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. This full-time role provides accounting and administrative support to a small practice, ensuring smooth financial operations and contributing to business success.

The position requires 1+ year of accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero, strong organizational skills, and relevant accounting qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative role.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management.
• Proficient with QuickBooks or Xero and MS Office.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Relevant accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, GL postings.
• Prepare and file tax returns, financial statements and regulatory documents.
• Provide administrative support: correspondence, scheduling, office organisation.
• Assist with implementation of accounting systems to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team on business initiatives and control improvements.
• Seek ways to enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
